The CDT examination tests candidates' knowledge and understanding of the following source materials:

• Project Resource Manual (PRM) - CSI Manual of Practice (PRM) and it's appendices (included):

  • MasterFormat™ (2004 edition)

  • PageFormat™ (1999 edition)

  • SectionFormat™ (1997 edition)

  • UniFormat™ (1998 edition)

(The PRM, MasterFormat, PageFormat, SectionFormat and UniFormat are available in CSI's Bookstore)

• General Conditions of the contract and Contract Forms common to the following documents: 

  • AIA A201-1997 General Conditions of the Contract for Construction OR

  • EJCDC C-700 Standard General Conditions of the Construction Contract

Testing Dates & Times:

CDT Exam Testing:  Candidates for the CDT exam will have two windows of opportunity for test-taking in 2008
March 31- April 5, 2008 and September 2008.
Candidates will register for a time and location via CSI and then choose from approximately 400 test sites in cities throughout the United States and Canada.
